17th Mar 2024: KV2HAA’s First Alumni Meet
KV2HAA successfully hosted its first-ever Alumni Meet on March 17th, 2024, at KV2 Halwara Air Force Station.
The event was a heartwarming gathering of former students, teachers, and staff, coming together to celebrate the shared legacy of KV2 Halwara. It was a day filled with nostalgia, laughter, and meaningful connections as alumni relived cherished memories and reconnected with their roots.
This milestone event not only strengthened the bond among the alumni but also set the foundation for many such gatherings in the future.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a grand success!
15th Aug 2024: Tree Plantation Drive
We are thrilled to share that our Alumni Association successfully organized a Tree Plantation Drive at KV 2 Halwara on 15th August 2024. It was a heartwarming experience to see our alumni come together to contribute to the environment and make our school greener and more beautiful.
A big thank you to Principal Mr. Jagadish Rajbangshi, K V No. 2 Halwara; school staff and teachers – Mr. Surinder Singh, Mr. Rajeev Kumar; school gardener – Shri Bhag Mal; and all the local alumni who participated and made this event a grand success. Your support not only enhanced the impact of the drive but also provided a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni and beloved teachers.
Let’s continue this spirit of unity and dedication towards a better and greener future!
12th Sep 2024: Girl Health Care and Menstrual Hygiene Session
“Empowering young minds with essential knowledge!
On 12th September 2024, the KV2HAA Committee successfully conducted a “Girl Health Care and Menstrual Hygiene“ Session at KV 2 School, Halwara. We have a good participation of 90 girls. A big thank you to guest speaker Dr. Shelly Jain (MBBS , MD ( OBGY ), FMAS, DMAS, FICS ( USA )Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Ultrasonologist) for her invaluable insights on personal hygiene, nutrition, and menstrual health. Your guidance is helping shape a healthier and more confident future for our young girls!
Special thanks to our honorable principal, Mr.Jagdish Rajbangshi, Madam Sumanpreet, and Madam Ranjit Kaur for their help and support throughout the session.
20th Sep 2024: Donation Sanitary Pad Disposal Equipment
As part of our continuous efforts to support the students of KV 2 Halwara, KV2HAA donated sanitary pad disposal equipment on 20th Sept 2024, promoting hygiene and well-being for the next generation. Alumni in attendance included Dr. Vishal Jain, Mr. Sukhpreet Singh, Mr. Parwinder Singh, Mr. Surinder Singh, Dr. Geetranjan Singh, and Dr. Ajay Chopra, who handed over the equipment to Principal Mr. Jagdish Rajbangshi, Teachers
Mrs. Ranjit Kaur, Mrs. Sumanpreet Kaur, Mr. Rajeev Kumar and Mr. Surinder Singh along with other school council.
Together, we continue to make a difference!
28th Dec 2024: Announcement - Formation of the KV2HAA Welfare Committee
It was announced to form KV2HAA Welfare Committee, a dedicated sub-committee under the KV2 Halwara Alumni Association (KV2HAA) Executive Committee. This initiative marks a significant step towards making a positive impact on society by extending support to those in need.
The Welfare Committee’s primary focus will be to provide assistance in critical areas such as education support, health-related issues, natural calamities, or any other situations deemed appropriate by the committee.
Objectives of the Welfare Committee
The Welfare Committee will focus on the following key areas to ensure effective and transparent operations:
1. Raising Funds: Collecting donations through various channels to support welfare initiatives.
2. Transparency in Finances: Maintaining an audited record of finances to ensure accountability and transparency.
3. Scrutiny and Verification: Ensuring that financial assistance reaches the right beneficiaries after a thorough verification process.
4. Effective Utilization of Funds: Utilizing the funds efficiently for noble causes and impactful projects.
All fund disbursements will be carried out at the discretion of the Welfare Committee members, with final approval from the Executive Committee.

An important milestone in the journey of the KV2 Halwara Alumni Association (KV2HAA) has been achieved with the official opening of the KV2HAA bank account, marking a significant step toward establishing a formal, transparent, and accountable system for managing funds and contributing to meaningful causes.

Sincere gratitude to Shri Baldev Singh Jawanda (father of our esteemed alumni Harmeet Jawanda) for his generous contribution of INR 5,000 to the association’s account. His support is truly commendable and will be instrumental in driving our welfare initiatives forward.
In addition, the Alumni Committee has collectively contributed INR 16,000, further demonstrating their commitment to the association’s goals of supporting education, health, and other noble causes.

The day was filled with joy, laughter, and emotional moments as alumni revisited their cherished school days, reconnected with friends and mentors, and celebrated the legacy of KV2 Halwara. The meet served as a beautiful reminder of the lifelong bonds we share as part of the KV2 family.
A special thank you to everyone who attended the Alumni Meet on December 22, 2024, at KV2 Halwara. This milestone gathering not only strengthened the alumni network but also laid the foundation for more such reunions and collaborations in the future.
